Greek Catholic Patriarch of Antioch and All East Gregory III Laham said that there won’t be peace in the world unless it is established in Syria and Palestine, calling for a solution in Syria to prevent the crisis spillover from expanding any further.
Speaking to the Lebanese National News Agency on Wednesday, Laham stressed that the Syrian Christians support their state, urging them to remain committed to the Syrians’ unity and steadfastness.
Commenting on President Bashar al-Assad’s recent visit to Maaloula, Laham said“It had a great influence in boosting the morale of the Christians who saw that the Church has come out in one voice in defense of Maaloula.”
